TOBB Board Member Bilgic, in his opening address, expressed how gratifying it is being in such close contact with the sector, and drew attention to the importance of relaying the issues to the Prime Minister and Ministers at the 9^th Turkish Sectoral Economy Summit.

During the meeting, the members of the council discussed the priority problems and solutions to be put forth at the Turkey Sectoral Economy Summit.

The unfair competition conditions in the sector, the problems experienced in the transport of furniture products and raw materials, the supply of public furniture and uncertainties in government procurement specifications, were listed among priority issues; the members agreed that necessary steps should be taken towards solutions to these problems.
