Stating that we need to keep pace with this shift in order to protect the industry and not lose our competitive power, Kütükcü said, "We must make such moves in vocational education that we find a solution for the problem of qualified staff for the industrial sector."
Minister Yilmaz stressed that they should develop new models in education through joint consultations and collective intelligence. He stated that there is an unqualified labor force in Turkey and that industrialists need skilled workers; that they will solve this problem with vocational and technical education.
The congress, consisting of 15 simultaneous panels over two days was attended heavily by representatives of public and private sectors.
