Şahin Bilgiç attended Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce General Assembly

The Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce (AICO), of which TOBB is an observer member, honorary member, strategic partner and the only official representative in Turkey, held its 43rd General Assembly meeting in Seville, Spain, on the 7th and 8th of November 2016.​
TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç participated in the meeting along with nearly 200 trade associations and trade chambers from Iberian-American countries. Also attending the assembly were Peter Mihok, President of the Federation of World Chambers, and the Vice President of the Federation of World Chambers as well as the President of the Torino Chamber of Commerce, Alessandro Barberis.
Representing Turkey and TOBB at the General Assembly, TOBB Member of the Board of Directors Şahin Bilgiç met with AICO Chairman and President of San Tiago Chamber of Commerce Peter Hill, as well as the business organizations of Uruguay, Sevilla, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Panama , the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Spain and Italy to evaluate their bilateral trade relations with Turkey and obstacles to trade.
Giving the closing speech of the 43rd Ordinary General Assembly of AICO, Şahin Bilgiç provided information about the structure and workings of the TOBB.
