During the year-end appraisal of the Board's activities, the activities of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, which will celebrate its 10th year in 2017, were discussed. TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, founded on October 29^th, 2009, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a series of programs throughout the country.

It was decided during the meeting that efforts would be made to increase the number of signatories for the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), established in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact and United Nations Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Unit (UN Women).
