Turkish representative to the GS1 Europe Executive Board

Elif Bilgehan Müftüoğlu, the Director of GS1 Turkey Foundation, which was established by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has been elected to the European Region Executive Board of GS1 which cooperates with nearly 2 million establishments in 170 countries, an international organization founded to monitor exchange of goods via various standards, barcodes as a primary example, as well as generating solutions. Forty-seven member states participated in the elections held in Paris.​
Forty-seven member states voted during the elections of the GS1 European Region Executive Board in Paris, France, to elect seven members to its board of twelve. Leaving behind candidates of the Czech Republic, Portugal and Denmark, Turkey's representative, the GS1 Turkey Foundation Director Müftüoğlu was elected to the GS1 European Executive Board for two years.
