With the protocol signed between TOBB and the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, TOBB has collected and recorded the data recorded from digital tachograph devices and driver cards in Turkey and has been authorized in the database for the analysis and the certification of the produced domestic digital tachograph devices by electronic means.

The protocol aims to prevent the unfair competition among the companies with the project which is of great importance in terms of ensuring that the professional drivers who carry national and international transportation in Turkey actively comply with the working and rest periods and in the prevention of fatal traffic accidents on highways. 

TOBB will provide certification services to domestic digital tachograph vehicle units that are supported for domestic know-how and development of domestic technology.
