Natural Gas Council meeting in Ankara

TOBB Turkey Natural Gas Council meeting was held at TOBB. At the meeting, a presentation on energy efficiency in the sector and regulations on supply security in the EU and their reflections on Turkey were made in this context.​

Turkish Natural Gas Council Chairman Ä°brahim Akbal, reviewing the winter period of 2016-2017 and providing information regarding developments in the world, explained that according to research conducted in Japan energy efficiency will contribute about 1.7% per year to primary energy resources.

 

Akbal stated that the issue of energy efficiency is also of great importance for Turkey and they want to address this issue with a special session.
