Speaking at the Forum, Faik Yavuz stressed that the Turkish business world has been successful in all parts of the world. “1 billion people live on the hunger limit in the world. We are positioned very strategically as representatives of the agriculture and livestock sector and we have to be beneficial to our countries and to all humanity.”

Speaking at the opening of the Forum, Agriculture and Food and Livestock Minister Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba said he believes that Turkish businessmen are trustworthy and will succeed in Serbia as they have everywhere.

Osman Arslan, the General Manager of Halkbank, the sponsor of the Turkey-Serbia Agricultural Business Forum, emphasized that they have come together to provide dialogue opportunities to the companies of the two countries operating in agriculture sector.

- Visit to the Belgrade Embassy

Faik Yavuz with The Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Fakıbaba and a smaller delegation visited the Embassy of Turkey in Belgrade and the General Directorate of Halkbank Serbia. The delegation then moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina to hold talks.
