'Venture Capital Anatolian Meetings' held in Izmir

The Venture Capital İzmir Meeting was held at the İzmir Hilton on September 20th by the Turkey Venture Capital Council which operates as a part of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), with the support of TR Presidential Economic Monitoring and Coordination Directorate. The event was hosted by Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Aegean Region Chamber of Industry and İzmir Commodity Exchange.​

Invited to the meeting were companies in the industrial and service sectors, which had over 5 million TL of turnover and provided an increase of over 20% annual turnover over the past 3 years.

TOBB Vice President and İzmir Chamber of Commerce President Ender Yorgancılar, İzmir Chamber of Commerce Vice President Cüneyt Güleç, İzmir Commodity Exchange Vice President Ercan Korkmaz and TR Presidential Economic Monitoring and Coordination Department Director Hakan Yurdakul gave the opening speeches of the event.

TOBB Turkey Venture Capital Council Chair Göktekin Dinçerler gave information about the purpose of the Venture Capital Anatolian Meetings organized in İzmir.

After the opening speeches, Prime Ministry Investment Support Agency Coordinator Ahmet Cüneyt Selçuk gave a presentation on trends in direct international investment flows on a global scale.

Chairman of the TOBB Venture Capital Council and Turkven Private Equity Director Göktekin Dinçerler, Head of Investment Support and Promotion Agency of the Prime Minister Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, İş Venture Capital General Manager Murat Özgen, İda Capital Managing Partner Cem Baytok, Earlybird Analyst Baturay Kaya, Diffusion Capital Partners Altan Küçükçınar, GlobalTurk Capital Founder and Managing Partner Barış Öney, Taxim Capital Director Berkin Mungan, Collective Spark General Partner Atıl Erken and Doğuş SK Venture Capital Deputy Director Levent Karasakaloğlu were present at the meeting.
