As of the end of 2017, there are 64.825 Industrial Capacity Reports which retain validity

The number of Capacity Reports, which was 72,369 in 2016, has declined by 10,42% to 64,825 in 2017. ​

Among the production facilities to which these reports belong, 38.17% have 1-9, 43.68% have 10-49, 8.78% have 50-99, 6.51% have 100-249 and 2.87% have more than 250 employees.

 

-In 2017, the total number of employees in the facilities with the Industrial Capacity Report decreased by 2.96% to 2.905.511 compared to the previous year.

 

While 4,56% of the total employees are employed in facilities with 1-9 employees, 23,11% are 10-49, 13,76% are 50-99, 22,39% are 100-249 and 36,18% of them are employed in facilities with 250 or more employees.  

 

According to the valid Current Capacity Reports, the first five provinces with the highest employment were Istanbul (619,046), Bursa (258,638), Ä°zmir (196,290), Kocaeli (188,183) and Ankara (151,947).

 

 

The last five provinces with the least number of employees were Ardahan (146), Bayburt (230), Hakkari (508), Iğdır (719) and Tunceli (734).

 

-As of the end of 2017, the most engineers in industrial facilities are working in Eastern Marmara.

 

30,585 engineers working in East Marmara were employed in industrial facilities. It was 24.702 in Istanbul, 20.323 in Western Anatolia, 17.820 in Aegean and 7.886 in Mediterranean.

 

4,21% of total employees are engineers, 4,50% are technicians, 6,60% are masters, 72,41% are workers and 11,29% are administrative personnel.

 

-As of the end of 2017, an average of 44.82 people are employed in industrial facilities.

 

The scale of growth in industrial facilities continued in 2017. The average number of employees in industrial facilities was 38,92 in 2013, 39,59 in 2014, 40,69 in 2015, 41,37 in 2016 and 44,82 in 2017.

 

Zonguldak with (103.40), which is the highest number of workers per industrial facility, followed by Kırklareli (100,17), Karaman (91,26), Çankırı (88,63) and Tekirdağ (88,51).
