During the meeting, it is stated that at the opening sitting of 8^th Energy Summit which shall be held in Antalya, issues that the sectors would like address shall be brought forward and in that regard “Sector Says That” text shall be formed at the council and submitted accordingly.

-Sector council brought up the matter of holding a workshop where the problems shall be discussed

Furthermore, to able to scrutinize sectoral problems, holding a workshop with the participation of related Ministries and stakeholders was requested. It was emphasised for the meeting which is planned to be held by approaching sectoral issues, may be held in the first period of 2018.

Reviews received from Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in relation with sectoral problems previously submitted during Turkey’ Economic Council were shared with the council. Council was informed about; ministry is in the process of work within scope of PETDER’s suggestions in connection with mandatory national stock system failing to be effective and productive,

Information was given about PETDER’s annual activity report. Views on draft prepared by Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning for Waste Oil Regulation shall be submitted as Turkey Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council. The issue of containers bearing national marker to be included in the scope of ADR due to the ADR legislative amendment was amongst the topics as discussed.
