Bülent Karakuş attended the panel for “Well-prepared for Earthquake” in Van TSO

TOBB Board Member Bülent Karakuş, for commemoration of the earthquake which occurred on 9th November 2011, attended the panel held in Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry for “Society Well-prepared for Earthquake”.
During the panel organised under the coordination of Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Management Administration (AFAD), Van TSO and Van Entrepreneur Businessmen Association (VANGİAD) information sharing had been made for the matters in relations with earthquake awareness, preparation for earthquake and precautions to be taken.
At the panel TOBB Board Member Bülent Karakuş said “As TOBB if we managed to contribute even in a slightest manner to ease the pain that Van had to go through in 2011, we consider ourselves happy. Our President revealed both material and moral support package consisted of 6 articles. We wanted business life in Van to pick up as its previous form. In order to meet our youngsters with sports and to raise healthy generations we concluded the handover of ‘TOBB 12 Giant Men Erciş Sports Hall’ in 2014. Earthquake in Van was the most pleasant sign of unity and solidarity in Turkey”.
