Attracted intensive attention by the KOBİs in Van the Digital Workshop training started with the opening speeches by Van TSO President Necdet TAKVA, Google Turkey Public Relations Pelin KUZEY and TOBB Boar Member Bülent Karakuş and proceeded with the presentations delivered by Google tutors.

Bülent Karakuş, during his speech within the event said “As you know, 20^th century’s most significant innovations internet and digital technologies are re-shaping each and every area of life. They continue to change economic and social interaction. New conceptions such as “Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, Cloud Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Immanent Access to Information, Lifelong Education” come into our lives and start changing our lives. We want future Turkey to be more prosperous and develop than today’s Turkey. We think that our country’s achievement for keeping up with this change is only possible with raising generations and companies with technological skills. Because we know that today’s world where competition is immense, the path to prosperity is leaded by education and trade. Nowadays any KOBİ in Van is able to compete with any KOBİ in Shanghai whereas until beginning of 2000’s same KOBİ in Van use to compete with only other KOBİs in Malatya, Bursa. Therefore with reference to this affect we, as TOBB and Google Turkey decided on cooperation.“
