Faik Yavuz attended TRAFİK’17 symposium

TOBB Account Member of the Board Faik Yavuz attended the opening ceremony of 8th Road Traffic Safety Symposium and Exhibition held at the Convention Centre of Ankara Chamber of Commerce organised under the cooperation of Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications along with Ministry of National Education. ​
Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, in his speech that he made during the opening thanked all the stakeholders particularly Ministries of Interior, National Education, Transport Maritime Affairs and Communication along with Ministry of Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology those who contributed to the biggest traffic related event carried out.
Stating that their job is to pave the way for the nation, to remove the obstacles on nation’s way Yıldırım also described road not only as transportation infrastructure but also a way to making life meaningful.
Visited the exhibition together with accompanying ministers Yıldırım examined a vintage type Toros branded vehicle for a while.
Subsequently examining the shuttle vehicle equipped by shuttle vehicles safety system which can be controlled by sensors on the seats and camera produced by a company as prototype Yıldırım also debriefed about vehicle.
President Yıldırım also examined the model of Yavuz Sultan Bridge as displayed in the exhibition.
