Demir, in his review regarding the expectation of Turkish defence industry and industrialist, said that sector should do more than their expectation for a "Powerful Turkey" and also the “campaign directive” by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan should be carried into effect within defence industry.

Stating that the total number of the project within Undersecretariat has reached to 600 whereas when he took the office it was around 300 projects, Demir said "50 of those projects commenced in 2017. In addition to 22 resolution released from Defence Industry Executive Committee we got nearly 40 more projects waiting for signing".
