Secure Payment Technologies Conference by TOBB and Mastercard cooperation

Prominent payment system brands and representatives from governmental institutions met up at “Secure Payment Technologies Conference” organised by TOBB and Mastercard cooperation. Participant, through the panels had the chance to learn many topics from experts such as risk, innovative payment technologies. During the conference where underlined that it was not sufficient payment technologies companies, banks and companies taking precautions separately for secure payment, also it is stated that entire establishments working in coordination, setting up information infrastructure and warning systems as well as formation of legal regulations are mandatory.
Opening speeches of the conference had been delivered by TOBB Vice President Halim Mete and Mastercard General Manager for Turkey and Azerbaijan Yiğit Çağlayan.
Halim Mete said “Now anyone who has a smart phone capable of reaching information same as a president of any country. One of the fundamental subjects within e-commerce that we come across is the absence of infrastructure originating from KOBİs’ lack of knowledge and the other one is low rate of digital literacy. By increasing those it is critical to promote trust in payment technologies”.
