Work begins on Arbitration Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan initiated work for the OIC Arbitration Center, which was proposed at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Summit in April 2016, entrusted to the Islamic Chamber and TOBB for its establishment.
In line with the decisions taken, the first premises for the establishment activities of the center were taken at the “Task Force” meeting hosted by TOBB. At a meeting with different OIC countries and the world's leading arbitration experts, the organization and operation of the center were discussed. The center will have the power to compete with the Arbitration Centers located in Europe and other eastern countries.
