Ülken: “As TOBB, we have become the voice of the insurance sector on every platform”

TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken, in his speech at the Insurance Agents Sector Assembly, stated that the insurance sector has achieved many firsts, “You have set up a structure that is a role model in other sectors.You have shown everyone how to achieve the best possible professional discipline and vocational training.”
Reminding that they established a new structure 11 years ago, under TOBB’s umbrella as the Undersecretariat of Treasury and agencies, Hakan Ülken said, “The past 11 years showed that we took a very accurate step in this period. We have made a very important point in the development of the sector. We set up the plate recording system. We developed disciplinary mechanisms. Thanks to SEGEM we have established with Treasury and Ministry of Finance, Insurance Turkey and the Union Reinsurance and Pension Companies, you began to provide training of your colleagues. There is no other sector like it in our country. And most importantly, we have built this whole structure in a very short period of time and made it work and become deeply rooted as it has.”
