Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In his speech at the meeting, Faik Yavuz, noted that Turkey and Germany are Europe's two major economic powers, “Our friendship and our partnership is deeply rooted. Germany is the 4^th largest economy in the world. Europe's largest economy. It is a base of production and technology.”

Reporting that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Union of German Industry, Commerce Union work together in the international arena as well as bilateral relations, Yavuz stated that the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce brings substance to cooperation of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin and the German-Turkish Trade and Industry Chamber in Istanbul.

Minister of Commerce, Ruhsar Pekcan, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk, Minister of Economy and Energy Peter Altmaier, TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz, TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and representatives of Turkish and German private sector organizations also attended the meeting.
