Speaking at the certificate ceremony organized at TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine, Head of Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Prof. Dr. Tayfun Aybek, following 6 months of work on patient greeting, patient satisfaction, clinical operations, clinical results and examination of quality of services in the last 10 years, they have been recognized to receive a certificate of quality.

Professor Dr. Aybek pointed out that TOBB ETU Faculty of Medicine provides services equal to the European standards. “With this certificate, TOBB ETU Faculty of Medicine is approved by a German institution for the quality of health tourism services for all citizens of Germany and European countries.”

Lutz Lungwitz, the President of Germany's Hospitals and Medical Wellness Association, said that they had the opportunity to see operations firsthand.

Lungwitz said, “After 15 years, we are happy to be presenting this certificate to a hospital in Turkey for the first time. This will be an important step in bringing in patients from Germany to Turkey.”
