Automotive Sector evaluates production increase

Turkey Automotive Industry Council Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Cengiz Erol. Vice President Osman Sever shared the information regarding 2018 business results of the sector as well as the 3-month results for 2019.​

Entering the 13th consecutive year of the automotive industry leadership in Turkey's exports, thanks were expressed to everyone who contributed to the realization of this important achievement. In 2019, compared to the first three months of the previous year, there was a contraction of 12.4% in total production, a contraction of 43% in the market and a contraction of 6% in exports.
