The Product Safety Training coordinated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey was held in İstanbul, hosted by the İstanbul Chamber of Industry. There was significant interest in the Electronic Equipment and Energy Efficiency training from the members of the İstanbul Chamber of Industry.
Deputy Secretary General of the İstanbul Chamber of Industry Haktan Akın stated that the training conducted in partnership with TOBB as a part of the Quality Infrastructure Development project have been very beneficial and the number of participants are at a satisfactory level.
Throughout the training, participants were briefed on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Low Voltage Control (LVC) and the appropriate labeling of products with regards to the environment by the energy efficiency expert Niels Hougaard.
The trainings, coordinated by the TOBB Real Sector R&D Application Department, will continue throughout May and June on the subjects of “Construction Materials”, “Medical Equipment” and “Motorized Vehicles”.
