“Electrical Equipment and Energy Efficiency” training held in Mersin

“Product Safety” training was held in Mersin on March 14th, 2012. Attending the Electrical Equipment and Energy Efficiency training coordinated of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and hosted by the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) was attended by Mersin TSO and Machinery Engineers Chamber Mersin Branch members.
Energy efficiency expert Niels Hougaard provided information on European Union Directives in relation to energy efficiency. Science, Industry and Technology Ministry experts made presentations detailing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Low Voltage Contractors (LVC) as part of the Electrical Equipment and Energy Efficiency training.
Attendees received information from experts regarding CE branding, electrical equipment production and the market monitoring and application during the import of said electrical equipment. The Electrical Equipment and Energy Efficiency training program, a part of the Development of the Quality Infrastructure in Turkey (TKAG) project organized by the TOBB Real Sector Research, Development and Application Branch, will continue in İstanbul.
