TOBB Turkey Fairs Council meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building with the Council President Serdar Yalçın presiding over the meeting. Attending the meeting on behalf of the Economy Ministry Fairs Department, Ahmed Şevket Yurt provided information regarding international fair endorsements. Yurt stated that amendments to the International Fair Endorsements Legislation as per the demands of council members.​

KOSGEB Vice President Bayram Mecit made a presentation detailing domestic fair endorsements to the council members. During the meeting, it was emphasized that, so long as proper procedures are followed, it was possible to benefit from the “SMB Project Support Program”. Council members put forth the problems in the fairs sector which require immediate action and presented their suggestions for solutions and requested that various clauses of the Domestic Fair Organization Procedures and Principles.
