Stating that as one of the few peerless commanders and statesmen in the world, Atatürk will forever live on in the heart of his nation, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “History has always shown him to be right. We are truly blessed for having him be the commander and statesmen of our history. We will strive tirelessly to preserve the trust he has vested in us and bring our country to the forefront of civilization. This is the promise of our business world to our great nation.”

In his message TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“On yet another 10th of November, we remember the Great Atatürk with feelings of love, respect, gratitude and thankfulness. With each passing day, we understand the enormous and timeless vision with which he waged his struggle better and we respect him increases in magnitude.

We have taken the words of Atatürk -who rewrote history by unifying the country against its enemies, strengthened broken resolves and showed that the fate of a nation can be changed- “Service to this nation, to this country will not end,” as our principle. We and the generations that follow will work without pause to carry our country further.

It is with this feelings and thoughts that I, on behalf of the Turkish business world, emphasizing our belief in the bright future of our country and our determination for a thriving Turkey, respectfully bow before the memory of the Great Atatürk.”
