The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the former USA Secretary of State and President of Partners for a New Beginning, Madeleine Albright and her accompanying committee for dinner.​

TOBB Board Vice Presidents Bülent Koşmaz and Halim Mete, Accounting Member İlhan Parseker, Board Members Harun Karacan, Çetin Osman Budak and Mustafa Yardımcı attended the meeting with the USA Committee consisting of USA Peace Institute International Affairs Responsible Advisor Stephen J. Hadley, Steve A. Cook, Anya Schmemann, Alexander Brock and Kristin Lewis from the Foreign Affairs Council and the Albright Stonebridge Group Vice President Fariba Yasasee.

During the meeting the subject of further developing bilateral economic and commercial relations between Turkey and the USA were assessed.
