TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the TOBB Board of Directors members planted sycamore trees in the Union Center gardens. The sycamore tree, which has deep roots, symbolizes the feelings of unity, solidarity and fraternity.​

The tree planting ceremony, guided by landscaping experts, was attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Board Vice Presidents Faik Yavuz, Halim Mete and Bülent Koşmaz, TOBB Board Accounting Member İlhan Parseker and TOBB Board Members Fahrettin Akyıl, Mustafa Yardımcı, Harun Karacan, Çetin Osman Budan, Mehmet Ali Kuseyri, Ender Yorgancılar, Arif Parmaksız and Mustafa Boydak.
