Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The media monitoring agency, Interpress, has determined the most mentioned union chamber and associations of 2011. The chamber, union and board chairman news were ranked according to news articles instances, with TOBB taking the first place with 24,837 articles.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has been found to be the most mentioned president in media with 6,568 news articles. The second place is held by the Turkey Exporters’ Council (TİM) with 6,596 articles while the TİM Board President Mehmet Büyükekşi is mentioned in 3,056 articles. Of the “Chambers of Industry” operating in Turkey, the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO) takes the first place with 4,619 news mentions and Board President Tanıl Küçük with 1,486.

The Aegean Region Industry Chamber (EBSO) comes in with 4,120 articles, with Board President Ender Yorgancılar is mentioned in 2,199 articles.

Also, the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) places third with 3,299 articles, 1,924 articles for Board Presdient Nurettin Özdebir.
Among the Chambers of Commerce in the country, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) takes first place with 6,954, Board President Dr. Murat Yalçıntaş mentioned in 2,667 articles.
The İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO) is second with 6,676; Board President Ekrem Demirtaş is mentioned in 3,737 articles.
Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) is third with 5,801 news articles; Board President Salih Bezci has 1,682 mentions.

Among associations, the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TÜSİAD) is first with 9,750 related news articles.
