Ambassador to Peru Namık Güner Erpul drew attention to the necessity of increasing the number of flights from Turkey to Latin America, mentioning the abundance of natural gas and natural resources in Peru. Chili, Colombia and especially Peru, the Ambassador went on, are the most noteworthy countries of the region and that while our increasing foreign trade volume is gratifying, it does not fully reflect the potential.
Touching on the collaboration of the two countries in the fields of food, textiles and mining, Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the benefits of holding fairs in Latin America where Turkish products are promoted and reported that a Business Council with Peru is in the process of being established.
