Yeditepe University International Affairs Club students visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Stating that in order to abolish unemployment, the private sector must be strengthened and entrepreneurship supported, Hisarcıklıoğlu suggested that all youth should aspire to entrepreneurship.​

As part of its Ankara Protocol Trip, Yeditepe University International Affairs Club students were hosted by Hisarcıklıoğlu who answered their questions regarding the economy and the business world, saying that he valued the youth and despite a busy schedule he always gives priority to meeting students and the youth.
Stating that their main goal is to enrich Turkey and solve the employment issue, Hisarcıklıoğlu related that they give great importance to increasing the number of young and women entrepreneurs. Stating that finances aren't a must for entrepreneurship, Hisarcıklıoğlu gave Facebook and Twitter as examples.
Giving information regarding the causes and the development of the global economic crisis which began in 2008, the TOBB President pointed out that throughout the world, the amount of inequality has been on the rise. On current deficit, "In order to deal with current deficit we must make it attractive to produce the imported intermediate goods in Turkey," said Hisarcıklıoğlu.
Also touching on the matter of the alleged Armenian Genocide bill to be discussed at the French senate, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the bill violates the freedom of thought and that this issue must first be researched by historians.
