After the opening of the Turkey-Gulf Cooperation Council 1st BusinessForum meeting, the agreement to establish the Turkish-Arab Businesswomen’s Business Joint Council was signed between the Arab Businesswomen’s Council and the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council.​

The agreement was signed by the Arab Businesswomen’s Council President Hissah Saad A.A. Al-Sabah and the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board President Aynur Bektaş.

Afterwards, the Islamic venture capital banks Venture Capital Bank and Bank Alkhair signed a partnership agreement with the fruit juice concentrate and fruit paste producer Göknur Food.

The signature ceremonies were witnessed by the TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan, Customs and Commerce Minister hayati Yazıcı, Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers Federation President Sheikh Saleh Kamel and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Deputy Secretary General Abdullah bin Juma Al-Shibli.
