Visiting the Diyarbakır Trade Exchange President and TOBB Board Member Fahrettin Akyıl in his office, the delegation was briefed in regards to the trade exchange’s operations. Stating that contrary to the fact that the trade exchange has no structural shortcomings, it has difficulty attracting farmers and producers in general, Akyıl went on to relating the problems and expectations of the exchange.
The delegation was informed regarding the operations of the Livestock Organized Industry Zone. The Speaker Çiçek said that a common risk in organized industry zones in the field of livestock is contagious disease, and went on, “Hopefully, you will be an example of success.”
Afterwards Hisarcıklıoğlu, the Speaker Çiçek, assembly and Constitution Platform representatives toured the area of the former Region National Education Ministry building.
Visiting the historical Great Mosque of Diyarbakır, the delegation was given information regarding the restoration underway at the mosque. Çiçek and Hisarcıklıoğlu chatted and took pictures with the youth at the Ensar Bookstore.
Visiting the region’s shopkeepers, delegation members gauged the trade in the region.
