TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his speech, “The most beneficent of men is he who is beneficial to others,” and thanked the businessmen who benefit their cities, like Ahmet Eren and Nihat Özdemir. Giving advice to the students in the meeting hall, Hisarcıklıoğlu gave the example of Germany and Japan which were devastated as a result of WWII and the success they’ve achieved since then.

Stating that the way to prosperity is through entrepreneurship, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Entrepreneurship starts off with a dream. Our Prophet said that people without imaginations lack wings. Do not be afraid to dream. The freest we can be are in our dreams. No machine to read dreams has yet been devised. Afterwards you need to turn your dream into a goal. No wind can help a ship which has no course. Of course, you have to work hard in addition to having a goal. Never be afraid to fail and never give up.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that while previously you needed money to be an entrepreneur, today, the situation is changed and it is possible to be an entrepreneur without money. Hisarcıklıoğlu gave facebook and twitter as examples.

Counseling the youth not to alienate anyone, the TOBB President said, “Work for a Turkey wherein right makes might, not the other way around.” Stating that all institutions built on injustice are doomed to fail, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We must reconstruct the system. That starts with the constitution.”

Bitlis Eren University Rector Mahmut Doğru provided information regarding the university’s activities during his speech and stated that they aim to train multiple language speaking, confident and honest people which the business world needs.
