Touring the Denizli Publicity booths set up in the Ankara Ankamall Shopping Center garden, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are proud of Denizli. I’d like to congratulate everyone, starting with the governor, all civil society professional organizations, parliament representatives and municipality. Denizli could not have been promoted better. This is a first in Turkey. Pioneering in this field is very becoming of Denizli. Hopefully our other provinces will also pick Denizli as a role model. Of course, Denizli needs to go international in order to raise the bar.”

The “Denizli Publicity Days” organized by the Denizli Governorship, Denizli Municipality, Denizli Chamber of Commerce, Denizli Chamber of Industry, Denizli Commodity Exchange, Denizli Exporters’ Union and Denizli Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Chambers has commenced at the Ankara Ankamall Shopping Center.

Models showcased special clothing made from Denizli cloth while also presentations introducing the ancient cities of Laodicea and Pamukkale. Gökhan Keser provided a short concert following the fashion parade.

Denizli Chamber of Commerce President Necdet Özer stated that promoting Denizli’s cultural treasures would be effective and thanked everyone for their support. He said that they work to promote Denizli on a national basis and went on, “As Denizli, we plan to contribute 15 billion Dollars to Turkey’s goal of 500 billion Dollars exports in the year 2023.”

Denizli Governor Abdülkadir Demir stated that he believed this activity would be repeated with more success in the coming years.

Many goods produced in Denizli and marketed worldwide are on display at the fair. The Denizli Publicity Days will be open to visit in Ankara until the 27th of May.
