ECO CCI Tourism Committee Meeting

 

The meetings of the Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO CCI) Committees were held in Tehran. Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç, President of Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of Gümüşhane Chamber of Commerce and Industry İsmail Akçay, President of İnegöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Metin Anıl, President of Denizli Chamber of Commerce Necdet Özer, President of Bayburt Chamber of Commerce and Industry İbrahim Yumak, Chairperson of Women Enterpreneurs  Council of ECO CCI Şafak Çivici and TOBB delegation participated in the Committee meetings .

 

ECO CCI  Tourism Committee Meeting was held in İran Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Mines, in Tehran. TOBB delegation, presided by Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç, President of Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended the Tourism Committee meeting. Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç, in his speech, pointed out the developments in tourism sector, and  expressed that in 1980 Turkey’s tourism income was  326 million dolars . Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç said:”30 yeras ago, 1.300.000 tourist were coming to Turkey. It was targeted that Turkey would attract 10 millions tourist. Last year 28 million tourists came to Turkey. The target was 10 million, it is realized as 28 million. Turkey is the one of the top 7 tourism destination in the world. Turkey also ranks 9th in the world in regard with the tourism income. Turkey also ranks 9th in the world in regard  with the number of bed which is over one million. In Turkey tourism is the sector where most of the investments are realized. In 2010, in Turkey, tourism has grown over the world growth and realized %10 increase both in the number of the tourists and tourism income.

 

Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç also pointed out the diversification of the tourism sector in Turkey and Turkey’s readiness to share its experience. The meeting appreciated the developments realized in tourism sector of Turkey which is accepted as model.

 

-ECO CCI Arbitration Committee Meeting

 

 

ECO CCI  Arbitration Committee Meeting was held in İran Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Mines, in Tehran. TOBB delegation, presided by President of Gümüşhane Chamber of Commerce and Industry İsmail Akçay, attended the Arbitration Committee meeting.  TOBB delegation is composed of Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç, President of Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of Gümüşhane Chamber of Commerce and Industry İsmail Akçay, President of İnegöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Metin Anıl, President of Denizli Chamber of Commerce Necdet Özer, President of Bayburt Chamber of Commerce and Industry İbrahim Yumak. During the meeting operation of the arbitration system in ECO region has been dicussed.
