World Bank Turkey Director Martin Raiser visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Hisarcıklıoğlu briefed Raiser on TOBB structure, activities, customs gate modernizations, Silk Road project, rose train and constitution platform projects.​

Providing information regarding the contributions of TOBB to the formation of the new Turkish Trade Law, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the business opportunities in Turkey, emphasizing that a new company is established in Turkey every hour. Hisarcıklıoğlu and Raiser exchanged views on the projects which the World Bank and Turkey could cooperate on.
