TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the iftar supper hosted by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO).
Civil society organizations, shopping centers and press establishments were presented with appreciation plaques for their contributions to the Ankara Shopping Festival during the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Council Meeting.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu was presented with an appreciation plaque by the ATO Council President Salih Bezci and Council President Nurettin Gürgür for his contributions to the Ankara Shopping Festival.
Accepting the plaque, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that this was a first, and that there could be mistakes or deficiencies but that it is more important to maintain sustainability.
TOBB President said that the adoption of the festival by the residents of Ankara would contribute to the revitalization of Ankara’s commerce and industry.

Speaking at the plaque ceremony, ATO Board President Salih Bezci said that the Ankara Shopping Fetival would vitalize the city and that they are gratified by the interest of the residents of Ankara.
Stating that the festival has increased turnovers significantly in all sectors, Bezci said, “An increase of 33% in turnovers across the board in comparison with the same period of last year has been observed. The festival has proven itself in all ways to be an organization to adopt and to be proud of.”
