TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the iftar supper held by the TOBB University of Economy and Technology (TOBB ETU) Alumni Association held at the university campus.

Addressing the alumni, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the month of Ramadan is one of grace and prosperity and said, “We are here to share this grace and prosperity with you.”

Stating that he graduated from Ankara College, the TOBB President said that he attended the college in order to learn English to a good degree and went on, “Back then I thought that if my father had given me the money at the end of high school instead of paying it to the college I would have capital. However once I graduated I saw that being a college graduate is a privilege. Being a TOBB ETU graduate will be privilege for you.

For the rest of your life, being a TOBB ETU alumnus will be a source of pride for you. Because the power of TOBB will be behind you. TOBB and I will be there to help you with all of your problems.”

Stating that graduates should be promoting TOBB ETU, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they would also be promoting themselves this way.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that TOBB ETU is raising its standards higher every day and that although they are a relatively new university, they are among the top 3 in Turkey.

Stating that TOBB ETU graduates should definitely join the TOBB ETU Alumni Association, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Birds of a feather stick together. Have you ever seen a solitary migratory bird? Your flock is TOBB ETU. Support each other, show solidarity.”
