“The medals have delighted us”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, while congratulating our athletes who won medals during the 2012 London Olympics, emphasized that victory is won through conviction and systematic, hard work.
In his message, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Rıza Kayaalp with bronze in 120 kg Greco-Roman, Servet Tazegül with gold in 68 kg men’s Taekwondo, Aslı Çakır Alptekin with gold in 1,500m women’s and Gamze Bulut with silver as well as Nur Tatar with silver in 67 kg women’s Taekwondo have swelled our chests. We are proud of every one of them as a nation. This victory is the result of conviction and work.
I believe, as our whole nation does, that the success of our athletes will increase in future competitions.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I congratulate our athletes, their trainers and directors who competed with great effort and present our gratitude for their contributions to the Olympics, the symbol of friendship and fraternity.”
