The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), will construct a sports hall for the Bayburt Police Vocational School.
The signing ceremony for the Bayburt Police Vocational School TOBB Culture and Art Center Renovation and TOBB Sports Hall was held at the TOBB Twin Towers. Attending the meeting were TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Police Director General Mehmet Kılıçlar, Police Academy Director Prof. Dr. Remzi Fındıklı, TOBB Board Vice President Faik Yavuz, Bayburt Police Vocational School Director Abdullah Şahin and Bayburt Chamber of Commerce and Industry President İbrahim Yumak.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu drew attention to the fact that Bayburt holds special importance in regards to history and culture. Stating that they wish to contribute to Bayburt’s return to its historically and culturally rich past, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “With this contribution, this protocol, we want to draw attention to Bayburt’s potential.”
Drawing attention to the works of TOBB and the place it finds itself in today, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are the industrialists, the merchants who love their country. We are proud to profit our country while we profit. This is why we won’t forget our social responsibilities.” Pointing out that the individuals trained by the Police Department are maintaining the security of the citizens of this country, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are proud of these individuals.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The duty of the Police Department is not just to maintain security. It is the basis of bread and liberty. This is why our Police Department has our utmost respect and will continue do have it.”
After a speech made by the Police Director Kılıçlar, the protocol was signed. As per which, TOBB supply the construction of the Culture and Art Center in Bayburt. After the ceremony the parties presented each other with plaques and gifts.
