TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, promising support to Serbian State Minister Süleyman Ugljanin and the Serbian Ambassador to Ankara Dusan Spasojevic for their industrial zones, said, “We can start promoting the investment opportunities to the businessmen in Turkey right away.”
The Serbian State Minister, Süleyman Ugljanin and the Serbian Ambassador to Ankara Dusan Spasojevic visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office.
Congratulating Ugljanin on his election and expressing his happiness for hosting him in Ankara, Hisarcıklıoğlu wished Serbia good luck in their talks with the EU and emphasized that they are ready to share their experiences.
- “Serbia has yet to be discovered”
Stating that the investment opportunities in the developed and developing parts of Serbia have yet to be discovered by the Turkish business community, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Let’s encourage investing in Serbia in our larger provinces like İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Konya, Gaziantep, Denizli and Kayseri. Let’s begin right away.”
- “We are ready to provide support for OIZ projects”
TOBB President said, “We are at the forefront of the world in terms of Industry Zones. We are prepared to share this accumulation of knowledge and experience to realize your project regarding industry zones and provide support for it.”
Ugljanin, expressing gratitude for hearing substantial suggestions by Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “A couple of large investors from Turkey could provide a turning point for the Sanjak District. There is a qualified workforce and productive sectors lacking only in investors. I am sure that in the long run both Turks and we will benefit from this; I will do all that I can in order to serve these ends in my capacity as Minister.”
