TOBB President, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, designated Turkey as the second emerging economy in the world. He emphasized that the Turkish economy grew by 8.9 percent over the last 9 months and it is the outcome of an increase in private sector investments. “In this period as Turkish private sector we provided 1.100.000 jobs and 980.000 of those registered”.

President Hisarcıklıoğlu made a speech at the “Value Add to Economy” award ceremony in Karabük.
The TOBB President declared the target of Turkey as becoming one of the first 10 economies in the world and having a national income of more than 2 Billion USD by 2023. 
He emphasized that as TOBB, we keep abreast of contract law, business law and retail industry law. These topics were legislated in one week which can be completed in two years and he therefore thanked all contributors.
Hisarcıklıoğlu also highlighted the importance of the Skills’10 Project for acquiring professional skills, while unemployment is one of the most important problems of Turkey.
Following the opening remarks, he presented awards to companies.
Finally the TOBB President attended the opening ceremony of the Karabük Technical High School Skills’10 Centre.
