Italian Ambassador Gianpaolo Scarente visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in order to discuss the details of President Abdullah Gül’s state visit to Italy.​

During the meeting, Turkey – Italy trade relations, contributions of the TOBB and DEİK organized private sector delegation which will accompany President Abdullah Gül and the economic situation Italy finds itself in following the crisis were discussed.
