“Today, we celebrate the 91^st anniversary of our Republic gifted unto our nation by the great Atatürk, in joy and hope.

I would like to express our gratitude to Atatürk and his brothers in arms who, following our great fight for independence, declared that the mode of governance deserved by our nation was that of republic and that the path of our country was that of all modern nations.

For the bright future of our country, today, more than ever, we need unity and solidarity. We must produce more, earn more, share, prosper and develop.

In order to reach the ideal of modern civilization as the goal set by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we strive hard as the private sector to fulfill our responsibilities in contributing to the economy and providing employment and will continue to do so.

It is with these thoughts that I, on behalf of the Turkish private sector, celebrate the Republic Day of our great nation which has taken it upon itself to attain the great leader Atatürk’s goal through will and effort; may it bring happiness and success to our country and nation.”
