TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with the delegation accompanying him as part of his Washington D.C. visit, visited the US Assistant Secretary of State for Economy, Energy and Business Jose Fernandez.​

During the meeting which took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information regarding the MoU signed between TOBB and US Chambers.

Fernandez expressed his happiness at the signing of the MoU and that they want Turkey-USA-Tunisia-Egypt company meetings to take place during the Turkey-USA Economic Partnership Commission meeting in May and that the TOBB and US Chambers relation is very important to this end.

Also topics during the meeting were the Global Entrepreneurship Program run by TOBB-TEPAV, Partners for a New Beginning and cooperation in regards to Intellectual Property Rights.
