In USA on US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s invitation, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the work dinner at the US Foreign Affairs Ministry.​

Speaking during the dinner, hosted by the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which she was unable to attend due to health issues, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu relayed his views on the developments in the Middle East.
Hisarcıklıoğlu also provided information regarding the various and upcoming projects undertaken in the region by TOBB, mainly entrepreneurship.
Attending the dinner were Assistant Secretary of State Thomas R. Nides, Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Assistant Secretary of Economy, Energy and Business Jose Fernandez and high ranking officials of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
