During the meetings discussions were held for increasing commerce amongst Islamic countries, best use of human resources, creating an investment environment aimed at better integrating Islamic countries’ economies to that of the global economy, facilitation of attaining finances for SMEs, encouraging youth and women entrepreneurs as well as the Islamic Chamber’s future endeavors.
Also during the ICCIA round table meeting, Uganda gave a presentation on the investment and cooperation opportunities to be found in Uganda.
Attending the meeting hosted by the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in addition to Turkey were United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, Guinea, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Mauritania, Niger, Oman, Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Uganda, Cyprus and Jordan.
TOBB Board Member Selçuk Öztürk was also present during the meetings.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu also visited Turkey’s Ambassador to Uganda Ayşe Sedef Yavuzalp during his visit to Uganda.
