Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Acting as facilitator at the meeting which took place at the TOBB Twin Towers, TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his pleasure in hosting the presidents of both countries’ chambers.

Recalling that the first technical meeting between the two parties was held in 2013, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, I’ve always believed that, business can contribute to solving difficult problems. In this case, we are witnessing that, the business of two regions are very much supporting the normalization process.

Serbian Chamber and Kosovo Chamber have been able to establish solid relations based on the common will. They both work closely to restore a positive business environment and climate for their respective business.”

Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Safet Gerxhaliu stated that the current situation can be considered a new development and stressed the importance of these meetings for the future of the region.

Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Marko Cadez drew attention to the importance of the process for the region, reporting that both countries have come far since the last meeting.
