The meeting took place at the HDP Headquarters and lasted approximately half an hour.
TESK Chairman Bendevi Palandöken stated in his announcement following the meeting that everyone must put forth the necessary effort to establish the new government.
Stating that they have no intention of pushing political designs; that political parties must come to an agreement posthaste, Palandöken said:
“We want the government to be established in short order so that the economy does not suffer. The citizens have voted. We thank them for their participation. 85% participation in elections is rarely seen, even in Western countries. The people have made their decision. We have expressed our opinion that early elections should not be an alternative for Turkey. I believe that political parties will act with this responsibility in mind. We hope that the work of establishing a new government will being in peace and trust.”
