Pointing out possibilities for joint sectoral and regional meetings by TSE and TOBB on matters of quality and standardization aimed at chamber and exchange members, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a special study for SMEs on Documentation of the TS 18001 Work Safety and Security Management System.

Touching on the importance of TSE’s bilateral and regional cooperation agreements with countries in Eurasia, the Middle East, Africa and the Gulf, the TOBB President reported that the Institute’s overseas endeavors are contributing to increasing exports as well as taking correct steps in importation.

Stating the key importance of TSE’s works in standardization and compliance assessment for the manufacturers of the country, the TOBB President emphasized that they are ready to cooperate with the Institute in all fields.

- Cooperation needs to be increased

TSE Chairman Sebahittin Korkmaz pointed out the need to increase cooperation between TSE and TOBB. Stating that TSE’s national and international standardization efforts are the voice of the country’s industrialists, Korkmaz also provided information in regards to TSE’s overseas compliance assessment activities.

During the visit, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu presented TSE Chairman Korkmaz with a copy of the Book of Dede Korkut published by TOBB. TSE Chairman Korkmaz presented the TOBB President with a plate decorated with the portrait of Sultan II. Bayezid Khan.
